Can AI sync sound effects to movements, cuts, transitions, and reveals?

Last updated September 25, 2026

Yes. The invideo agent inside invideo Editor can analyse what happens in a video and place sounds to match movements, cuts, transitions, and reveals. You can point to an event, such as a door closing, or give a timestamp for where a sound should appear.

Tell the agent what should happen and how it should feel. For example: “Add a soft whoosh as the panel slides in, a click when it stops, and a stronger impact when the logo appears.”

The invideo agent can use the video and your instructions to arrange the effects. You can ask it to adjust the timing or move and trim the sounds yourself on the timeline.

Play the sequence back to check that each sound lands where you want it. A sound may build up before its loudest point, so the start of the audio clip is not always the moment you want to line up with the action. You can also add sound design around an existing picture edit.

Celina’s (@celfstudies) creator demo shows sound effects being arranged in invideo Editor. Watch around 0:26–0:33 for the request to add attached effects, the resulting timeline, and a manual timing adjustment.
